Forefront Engineering has signed an agreement to implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes in the Mewa Khola 24.40 MW Hydropower Project. The scope of work includes BIM coordination, BIM modeling of civil structures, quantity takeoff, and other BIM-related services to support efficient project delivery.

Located in the Taplejung District of Nepal’s Mechi Zone, within Papun VDC/Mikwakhola Rural Municipality, the Mewa Khola project is a 24.40 MW run-of-river (RoR) hydroelectric facility. It harnesses the Mewa River, covering a catchment area of 94.30 km². This initiative is aimed at improving collaboration among stakeholders, minimizing design and construction errors, and optimizing both time and cost. The integration of BIM into the project marks a significant step toward smarter, more sustainable, and digitally driven infrastructure development in Nepal.
